On 14 November, Thursday to mark the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated at D.I.S with full enthusiasm. The celebration began with a English and Hindi speech by teachers.

Manager of the school Mr. T.S Rawat and Principal Dr. Swati Anand addressed the children and encouraged them to broaden new horizon for them and work hard.

To celebrate this day various sports activities such as Relay race, Pass-message race, Sack race, Three- legged race, Toffee-race, Banana race, Lemon-spoon race, frog race, Balloon race and Treasure-hunt were organized in the school campus.

All the students enthusiastically participated in all the activities. The students were served with the treat.

At the end of the celebration winning students were rewarded generously with the gifts by our respected Principal Dr.Swati Anand and revered Manager Mr. T.S Rawat.
