CHRISTMAS DAY

For Christmas is tradition time.

Traditions that recall the memories down the years, the sameness of them all.

D.I.S celebrated Christmas with great fervor and enthusiasm. The school was beautifully decorated.

The significance of the festival was explained to the students through the Christmas story. The entire school vibrated with the echoes of Christmas carols.

The festive spirit was witnessed among the school staff and students.

The endless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the students especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them.

SOCIAL SCIENCE AND SCIENCE EXHIBITION

“What we learn with pleasure we never forget”

Dharma International School organised one day Science and Social Science exhibition on December 23 Monday, with great enthusiasm at its premises. All the students from VI to IX participated in the exhibition.

To explore and encourage scientific and technological talent and creative thinking among students and inculcate in them a sense of pride in their talent was the main objective of conducting the exhibition.

The exhibition was held for the first time. Replicas of Science and Social Science were made by the students under the guidance of teachers.

Working models like dam, solar system wind-mill, J.C.B, air pollution, sound pollution, drip- irrigation, volcanic eruption, earth quake etc. were demonstrated by the students.

Students really worked hard on creativity and innovation. The team work of students was appreciated by the parents.

The principal Dr. Swati Anand in her address, exhorted the students to achieve excellence in the field of Science and technology.

By conducting such kind of activities in the school, students learn the value of research work, organizational skills and team work.

CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY

Wining doesn’t always mean being first. Winning means you’re doing better. Than you’re ever done before.

A certificate distribution ceremony of a two day (29 and 30 November 2019) sports meet was held at Dharma International School.

The position holders were felicitated with a certificate by the revered Principal Mam Dr. Swati Anand and Manager Sir Mr. T.S Rawat.

At the end of the program, respected Principal encouraged and exhorted the students to take interest in sports activities sincerely if they wanted to keep them stay fit and healthy.

Sports is a great example of team spirit, which every student should develop.

THANKS GIVING 2019 AND WELCOME 2020

The darkest night is often the bridge to the brightest tomorrow. Starting over can be challenging, but also it can be a great opportunity to do things differently.

Thanksgiving Day is one of the best time of the year where we remind ourselves of the many reasons to be grateful. It is a time to ponder upon the lessons we learnt through the year, and the happiness we spread.

So, to keep the above words alive D.I.S family organized thanks adieu party to 2019 and extended a warm welcome to 2020, at the school premises.

The lovely day started by welcoming the respected Principal Dr. Swati Anand, Managing Director Mr. L.K Singh Butola and Manager Mr. T.S Rawat with a bouquet as a token of respect and love.

The School campus was beautifully decorated with red and white balloons. Teachers enjoyed a lot, thanked and gave positive opinions about each other as well as presented gifts to each other.

The delicious lunch was organised by the school authorities for all the staff members. Everyone seemed to be very excited and happy to celebrate this day. The main purpose for the celebration was to look back at the memories of the year and look forward to another great year.

At the end of the program Principal Dr. Swati Anand and Managing Director Mr. L.K Singh Butola wished all the staff a Happy and a prosperous New Year ahead.The Principal also stated that apart from making new resolution we should once again renew our old promises to serve the institution with firm determination, dedication and devotion selflessly.
