DRAWING COMPETITION

To know the importance of being creative and innovative in this competitive world, the school organised Drawing Competition on 27 April 2019, Saturday in the school campus.

The theme of the competition was ‘Save Environment’. Students of classes I to V participated with great zeal and fervour. The students showcased their talent in the best possible way.  

These competitions encourage them to think beyond, to express their views and explore their creativity through their imagination and art work.

CALLIGRAPHY COMPETITION

Dharma International School organised a Hindi Calligraphy competition on 24 April 2019, Saturday to improve presentation skills and inculcate good handwriting among students.  

All the students of classes I to V participated with great interest. Such kind of  competitions  turn out to be very meaningful for the students since it not only improve their handwriting but also teach students about their different style of writing. 

D.I.S always promotes such competitions in the school for the overall development of the child.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The ‘Investiture Ceremony ’ of D.I.S for the academic session 2019-2020 was held with great enthusiasm and dignity in the school premises on 27 April 2019, Saturday. 

It was the occasion where the young students were all prepared to take up their leadership and discharge the responsibilities assigned to them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them feel of being an important and integral part of the administrative body, student’s council is formed every year.  

Following with the introduction, badges were given to the respective Council of Students by our Administrative Mr. T.S Rawat Sir and Principal Dr. Swati Anand Mam. 

Then, the Principal Mam administered the oath to the newly elected Council of Students. 

It was really a wonderful day for the students as well as for the school.

STORY WRITING COMPETITION

An Inter -House English creative story writing was organised in D.I.S, on 20 April 2019, Saturday wherein all students of classes VI to X participated. 

Students were given topic on the spot wherein they wrote a good story with a moral to it.  This competition gave students a platform to learn, how to express their ideas and views in different ways. Children participated earnestly in the competition. Their efforts and work was appreciated by one and all.
